Welcome,

My name is Camille, I am a Postdoc at the Institut d'Astrophysique Spatiale (IAS, Orsay) in France since November 2024. I am working with Benoît Tabone, in the interstellar medium team (Equipe AMIS). You can find my office in the building 121 (Office 205b).

My research is focused on the study of planet gas/interactions. I run hydrodynamical simulations to study the simultaneous formation of multiple giant planets in protoplanetary discs. My goal is to link different kinds of observations (exoplanets, circumstellar discs) to planet formation models in order to constrain their formation pathway.

During my current postdoc, we focus with Benoît on analysing JWST/NIRSpec observations of discs around very low mass stars in order to better understand planet formation in these peculiar environments. I invite you to discover the Research section where I detail my research projects. To summarize, I work on:

  • Planet/gas interactions: gap opening, gas accretion, migration
  • Formation of multiple giant planets
  • Observability of planet formation processes
  • Protoplanetary disc and debris disc phases
  • Hydrodynamical simulations
  • Radiative transfer
  • Dust evolution models
  • Synthetic imaging (ALMA/JWST)

Feel free to contact me if you have any question about my research or my experiences. I will be really happy to answer you as soon as I can ! A detailed CV can be dowloaded here:
